Budget Plans


How do the budget plans work

Budget plans are absolutely focused on the low price and consist of ready-made plans which are designed for different goals and performance levels (e.g. marathon plan 8h training per week, 14h training per week, Ironman plan for beginners...etc.).

!!!Important!!!

In our opinion, such ready-made plans are rather to be seen as a guide, and per generally accepted training science not as a training plan. One of the recognized and valid training principles is, for example, the principle of individuality, this can not be implemented as it is. We have been creating training plans since 1997 and it has never happened that the identical plan could be used for two athletes. Taking into account the level of performance, availability of the athlete, his goals and his development, each plan is unique and never a fixed construct, on the contrary, a training plan constantly adapts to the results of previous trainings and is optimized.

In our opinion, this information is very important in the context of open and honest clarification, we want to clarify openly here and give an insight into the real work of training planning, a prefabricated plan has only one goal, the price.

Not for nothing we say, from athlete to athlete - from person to person, just the contact of trainer and athlete is a key element.

Advantages of the budget plans


These plans are based on decades of experience and assume an expected fatigue to avoid overload. In practice, this means that once we know what load a training objectively causes, this can be calculated exactly today, and we know how this was completed by hundreds of athletes and what load actually came out on average. This average also flows into the planning. The deviation, by the way, comes from the fact that almost no training can be completed 100% as planned, so you often have a direct deviation where as described above then the coach comes into play.
In the budget plans, a buffer is therefore also planned where the trainer can really go to the limit in the individual planning.

Limitation compared to training planning

  • no structured workout files for synchronization to GPS sports watches or bike computers that then automatically display the workout.

  • no further consultation, answering of questions or contact with the coach

  • no support regarding technical questions about the system beyond the help videos, the questions have to be asked directly to Final Surge's service (may be English only)

  • not an indoor alternative for the cycling training in the months of October to March or selection but only an option



Wie oben angesprochen eigenen sich diese Pläne um zum kleinen Preis eine Struktur in das eigene Training zu bringen, zu sehen wie es geht, eine Strutkur in die Pausen zum Training zu bringen um Überlastungen zu vermeiden, jedoch nicht wenn es um die individuelle Bestleistung geht. Für die angegebenen Zwecke, um einfach mal reinzuschnuppern wie sich eine individuelle Planung optisch und technisch gestalten könnte, sind diese fertigen Planungen ein guter Start.
